Water and Wastewater

Motorola's RTUs are used extensively in the monitoring and control of water systems. The flexibility of the MDLC (Motorola Data Link Communications) protocol allows extensive and dynamic communications between RTUs making it ideal for the control of pump stations based on a tank level and other changing conditions.

SCADA Features:

Tank-to-pump communications are available for controlling pumps based on tank level
Tank-to-pump paths can be changed dynamically so one tank site can control several pumps simultaneously
Setpoints can be uploaded to tank sites by SCADA system operator
Automatic pump rotations based on manual settings, set schedule, or other parameters
